Marnef’s device Renouard 713 and type 85B are not found before 1501.
Datable to after 18 February 1500 [1501 n.s.], as the preparation of a French translation is mentioned in the ‘Peroratio’ of the Latin original in the Kerver edition of that date (GW’s note on the date is wrong).
BMC says ‘may belong to the sixteenth century’.
