4°: aaa–qqq⁶ rrr⁴.
Printed in Paris by Antoine Caillaut for Antoine Verard.
The incipit states that the text was composed in 1505, so the imprint date must be 1505 ‘avant Pâques’, i.e. January 1506.
The type is the same as in the 1505 Livre de l’amour attributed to Caillaut.
The wording of the imprint follows closely the wording of the 1506 Ordinaire signed by Caillaut.
BMC viii, p. xxiv states that this edition is not printed in Caillaut’s types but this is only true for the incunable period.
Signature pattern: ‘$.i.’–‘$.iii.’.
Catchword pattern: none.
Types: T25 (95mm; some over-large caps); Rot3 (180mm).
