The explicit for the text is dated 23 December 1504; Lefèvre d’Etaples’s preliminary letter is dated ‘ad decimum Calendas Martias Anni ad Calculos Romanos .MDVI.’ (19 February 1506) which is assumed to be an error for 1505 as he refers to his recent dedication of the Sextus Aurelius of 29 November 1504.
