Printed in Paris by Josse Badius for himself, Jean Petit and the Marnef brothers.
The Ovidius moralizatus is attributed to Pierre Bersuire (Inventaire chronologique).
Some copies are recorded with the device of Badius (Renouard 22) or Petit (Renouard 887).
Imprimeurs parisiens gives the date as 1511/1512 but, as Easter falls after 5 April in both years, it is not possible to be sure about this; Badius usually dated his books ‘ad calculum Romanum’ and so the date 1511 has been preferred.
