Jean Adam
Printer in Paris, 1516–1543

Libraire, imprimeur, fondeur de lettres

His dated books occur from 1516 to 1521. His output, which is almost entirely liturgical, is shared with Jean Kerbriant (1516–1518) and his brother-in-law Jean Bienayse (1520–1521). Imprimeurs & libraires parisiens considers that, although he styled himself a printer, he may have been mainly a typefounder and publisher. In the imprints of books of 1518, 1520 and 1521, he is listed as a bookseller rather than a printer.

No addresses given in his imprints.
