Ovid, 43 B.C.-17 A.D. or 18 A.D.
Les .xxi. epistres douide translatees de latin en francoys, par octouien de saint gelaix.
[Paris]: [Colophon:] Imprime a Paris Par la veufue Iehan trepperel & Iehan Iehannot, [1514?].
4°: A⁶ B–T⁴/⁸ V⁴.
Printed in Paris by the widow of Jean Trepperel and Jean Jehannot.
Jehannot styles himself ‘libraire et imprimeur’ in the colophon, which suggests a date before January 1515 when he became imprimeur juré; the presence of a quire number on the title page suggests 1514 at the earliest, as this practice seems to occur from about that date.
Signature pattern: ‘$.i.’–‘$.iiii.’.
Catchword pattern: none.
Quire number ‘.xx.c.’ on title page: the book has 20 gatherings (29 and a half sheets).
