In partnership with Jean Higman from 1494 to c. 1500 and with Higman’s successor, Henri Estienne, in 1502-1503.

Dates in colophons are usually expressed in words until about 1510, then often in figures, especially for the year date.

The 28 mm and 15 mm series (criblé, with no outer rule) are found from 1504. Three other sets (23, 32, 39 mm; criblé, mostly with no outer rule) are found from 1513/1514, and a 22 mm set with a black ground and an outer rule from 1519.
